Van Hook Falls
Van Hook Branch
Cane Creek Wildlife Management Area
Daniel Boone National Forest
When I made my first trip to Van Hook Falls in Kentucky's Cane Creek Wildlife Management area I mentioned that I would never have to make the trip again as the waterfall was at bucket list waterflow. Well, that's not true. I will go back. It's one of Kentucky's prettiest waterfalls and the hike makes it more than worth it. There are so many vantage points to shoot the falls and I really didn't take full advantage of all of them. It's such a beautiful place, as the 40 ft waterfall plunges into a boulder strewn creekbed. Truly one of Kentucky's more gorgeous and lesser known gems, it is a place any true fan of nature would love to visit, and should.
