Fairmount Falls Fairmount Falls Park Fairdale Jefferson County Kentucky In early November copious amounts of rain were dumped in Kentucky along the Ohio River and I couldn't resist doing some fall foliage waterfall chasing in greater Louisville! So my good friend Adam Thompson - The Serialphotog and myself met up with with our good friend Chris Morris at Fairmount Falls! Though the waterfall was again not what I expected it was still worth the visit! Peak colors were in full force and made for a gorgeous view of into this mini gorge!

Falls Of Rough Green Mill Rough River Breckingridge/Grayson Counties Falls Of Rough Kentucky On a trip to Western/Central portion of Kentucky based around viewing the Great American Eclipse. Since I was a little late on the ball (February) securing lodging I ended finding a place on the southern most section of Rough River Lake, a little under two hours from our viewing destination. After visiting a privately owned arch, we decided to head up to an area called The Falls Of Rough, a man made dam on the Rough River. I had been wanting to visit here for years and unfortunately I was unable to visit before one of the abandoned buildings of the Green Brothers Mill collapsed along the river, but that is OK. It was still cool anyway and a great time with some great friends!
