Dog Branch School Falls Dog Branch Daniel Boone National Forest Laurel County Kentucky A few years ago when I first visited Dog School Branch Falls there was not much water on it and I knew that I’d be coming back. Two weekends ago I got to return to this roadside beauty with my good friend Leo Combs. I’ve noticed of late I’ve been spending a lot more time when shooting waterfalls and this one was no different. As we were getting ready to pack up and leave it looked up the cliff line away from the falls and noticed a large rock that looked like standing on top of it would make for a cool overlook of the falls. Goodness was I right! Not only did it have a clear view of the falls, it also had this really cool rock overhang above! This certainly turned out to be my favorite composition of this falls!
