French Broad Falls North Fork French Broad River Mill Shoals Living Waters Ministry Rosman North Carolina
Mill Shoals Living Water Ministry North Carolina Back in spring of 2013 I got the opportunity to visit one of my favorite waterfalling areas Brevard, North Carolina, The Land Of The Waterfalls with several really good friends. As you can tell here we had to fight some seriously hard shooting conditions, but that's what they make 1.8 ND filters for. This is Mill Shoals Falls located right next to Old Balsam Mill in the Living Waters Ministry. Although on private property the Ministry allows folks to still view their beautiful waterfalls. There are several falls here, another to the left on the North Fork of the Broad River making a rare double falls and several more further downstream.
Mill Shoals North Fork French Broad River/ Shoal Creek Living Waters Ministry North Carolina It's not everyday one gets to visit a place where you can photograph three separate waterfalls all in the same shot, but behind the privately owned Living Waters Ministry near Rosman, North Carolina you can! Together the falls are called Mill Shoals as the North Fork Of The French Broad River and Shoal Creek both drop over a 15 foot ledge and then continues downstream passing over several more cascades and waterfalls. The falls on the left is also called French Broad Falls and at one time they were called Elysium Falls and Twin Falls. One could spend hours here shooting the many falls, and I can't thank the Living Waters Ministry enough for allowing access to this beautiful area.
