White Oak Creek Falls White Oak Creek Nantahala National Forest North Carolina I made an impromptu stop by this little known gem when I discovered that I was passing within a few miles of it and two other waterfalls on my way home from my good friend John Deas house. Though it is stated that this falls is only 25 ft tall, it seemed to be a lot larger and when I first saw it downstream from the bridge across the creek I thought to myself, "Oh wow!" Requiring some rock hopping upstream and an easy scramble to this spot, the amount of force the falls was flowing at was impressive and the sound was deafening! Certainly worth the detour!
